    Kyle Korver?? Talk about going from bad to worse. If they have to scrape the bottom of the talent barrel to get players I'd rather they just roll with what they have.

    3 team trade between the Rockets, Heat and Cavs.

    Heat in: Ryan Anderson, Tristian Thompson, HOU top-25 protected 1st and Cavs 2nd
    Heat out: Whiteside and James Johnson

    Cavs in: Whiteside and HOU 2nd
    Cavs out: Thompson, Korver and 2nd

    Rockets in: James Johnson and Korver
    Rockets out: Anderson, top-25 protected 1st and 2nd

    This could be a basic framework. Obviously it’s very unlikely (3-team trades are rare) but there’s some reasoning behind the move.

    For the Heat, they get rid of a headache in Whiteside and also the long term deal in Johnson. In 2 years the contracts of Anderson, Thompson, Tyler Johnson and Dragic will expire so that’s potentially MAJOR cap space for them. They also shave a couple of million on this year’s cap. The 1st they get from Houston can be protected top-25 or set up that it turns into a 2nd if it’s not conveyed this year.

    For the Cavs, they sound like they want to stay somewhat relevant with the Love extension so they should be willing to take a chance on Whiteside. A rotation of Sexton, Hood, Osman, Love and Whiteside with Hill, Smith, Clarkson, Dekker and Nance off the bench is a nice team that could sneak in with a 7/8 seed in the East.

    For the Rockets, I’ll start by saying if Morey can flip Ryno into James Johnson and Kyle Korver then Morey is really a god amongst men. Cod has been alluding to Korver for a while and James Johnson is probably my favorite of those who has been rumored in a Ryno trade.

    Picture our rotation:
    PG: Paul and Harden split time with the occasional MCW / Melton stint
    SG: Harden and Gordon get majority time, with some of Green
    SF: Melo starts, Ennis and Korver get the rest of the time
    PF: Tucker and Johnson with a little Melo
    C: Capela with majority minutes, Tucker or Johnson in small ball, Nene if match ups need him.

    This team is better, on paper, than last years.

    Korver is one of the most prolific 3 point shooters in NBA history and was one of LeBron's favorite targets for passes during the playoffs this last year. Do you even watch basketball?
