People quitting their job is generally seen as a sign of a strong job market: people quit one job for another.

    God damn, Trump. You go!

LOL so the labor participation rate going down is now a good thing.

This is why nobody takes the right seriously.

this thread has evolved to be

the schooling of Bandwagoner / Red Rocket who have repeatedly publicized that
the only thing they know about economics is that they don't understand it !

Or when I asked if the EU only responds to threats in the context of international trade and you posted how Greece and Italy mismanaged their finances. Classic!

Trump inherited a good economy, why is this a surprise? It's just silly Trump is shooting himself in the foot with this unnecessary trade war.

Yes, you don't know what international means. I can already tell you are trying another semantics battle since the EU is a regulatory body and you are going to argue that it's not technically international.

You are that transparent. Again, I win and you lose.

A “good” economy is not what Trump wants. He wants to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

So...got a notification from one of our vendors that prices are going up on equipment because of the tariffs. So we'll have to raise our prices. Yay! Is America great yet?!?!

Are you saying that prices for my business aren't going up? And that we aren't going to have to raise prices? Our vendor is adding the "tariffs" as a line item and says it will be deleted when and if they stop. Of course once we raise our price on products, we will never take it back down. So the consumer ends up paying.

coffee tariffs? just curious what the specific thing you are buying is and why a company would specifically call it tariffs on an invoice.

You're right. All the restaurants which get these price increases (which will be all) will just absorb the cost and not pass it off to consumers.

How often are you buying stainless products out of curiosity? From my limited knowledge, espresso machines are $10K+ so tariffs would be a small percentage. portafilters are brass......
