It was a solid top 10 list. I haven't seen The Wire, Mad Men, Sopranos, True Detective. I have no desire to watch the last 3, but The Wire is on my list to binge eventually.

True Detective Season 1 might be the greatest TV I've ever watched.

I hear that a lot, It just doesn't look like something I would enjoy. The only thing I know about season 1 is Alexandra Daddario's bewbs.

EPISODES was the criteria, not series.

    Also...Flowers for Charlie

My college roommate and longtime friend was killed in the desert scene of breaking bad. He's on the passenger side. Interesting enough, but one more tidbit to add, my other college roommate was related to the real Frank Nitti, Al Capone's gunman.

Ozymandias should be top 5 at worst.

True Detective gave TV this amazing surreality Id never seen before. Woody and Matt were amazing.

Nothing has come to be as gripping as Breaking Bad though. Cranston as Walter is the epitome of a TV character. He will not topped.

Skimmed the list, lots of episodes from truly bad television.

List is Meh, but mainly due to shows I haven't seen. One of the best of all time was MASH finale. Interesting fact: I only learned ten years ago (and I grew up with this in the 70's) that the MASH theme is based on a song "Suicide is Painless."

FYI, kids: This is the most watched Season Finale in history, and for good reason. The part I like? You will become invested in the characters in even this last episode. Give it a go. Why not see what is considered the best last episode in history?

Is the reason because there were only 3 TV stations back then?

Of course it will always be the most watched episode of any series ever... but it doesn't mean it was the "best".

Breaking Bad was Awesome, but MASH is still one of the best endings ever. I'll assume you haven't see it.

Oh, I've seen it... I just cringe whenever somebody points out the "most watched" metric and makes the application to quality, when it literally was a time of no cable, three channels, and nobody had a primetime lineup full of shows for people to watch.

I'll never forget that one-take stash house raid on True Detective. It's easily the best tv moment I have ever seen.
