My thought for MIA was that the tax and salary savings would be too tempting to pass up. They’ll have some trouble re-signing Winslow without worsening their cap situation, so not sure how highly they value him. Hopefully not so much that we’d need to include both Qi and Melton. Tbh, I’d be willing to if it was a dealbreaker.

I would love to keep him myself. I'm a big fan of developing young talent, which is one of the reasons I'm a fan of Capela. He's a great example of drafting a player and reaping the benefit. You have to give in order to get, though. Usually. Morey is a sneaky guy. Maybe we'll end up keeping and developing Melton into at least a rotation player, even a starter, eventually. Johnson and Winslow would both make an impact this season, though. Very tempting, and I'll be surprised if Riles will do it.
Plus the act of Deleting means something in and of itself. Someone is getting deleted/cut. Or the trade happens, but gets rescinded.
