    This

Is the reality of the situation

All of the people who are drawing clear lines on one side or the other don’t understand how people work

Roberto Osuna is from Mexico, a lot of Astro Fans are Mexican, Spanish media will help his image.
Astros Players are from Latin Countries, that is helpful, Hector Rondon is going to be so influential for Osuna. Same type of Power Fastball, older same type of build. Older, Wiser, Won a Title as Cub, Setup Man.
Carlos Correa, Lance McCullers Jr., Alex Bregman, Roberto Osuna, Right Now is huge Young All Star Core.
Kyle Tucker needs time to develop. Forrest Whitley, Yordan Alvarez, Seth Beer are on their way. Future is looking Good.

Thats a very harsh word... since many associate it with being "broken". Its not that... but its comprised of several groups.

In 2016, Luhnow hinted at one of the issues they saw developing was a very cliquish clubhouse, divided either by age, race, position, etc. It may have influenced their decision to sign Beltran as a guy who could bridge the gap between the veterans and the young guys.

For the most part, guys still tend to hang out in smaller groups within the clubhouse, and outside the clubhouse. This is not some team that all goes to dinner together on the road or takes big huge group vacations together.... nor would I expect any baseball team to be like that.

In the end, its a group of likable guys... with guys of similar age/descent that tend to get along easier with each other.

Yeah. You and I see eye to eye on this issue.

Yesterday would have been a good time to get started on that.

Reminds me of Carl Everett. People said he'd be bad for the clubhouse when we traded for him if I remember right, but he was a "model teammate" while he was here and playing well. He had some issues in Boston too and was always a hot-head, but they didn't dump him until he got injured and his performance suffered.

(Sadly there are some other correlations given things Everett did post-playing career...I'll leave that out of this because it wasn't the intent.)

He's doing a Peace Bond, read it yesterday.

Quick definition: "A peace bond is a court order to keep the peace and be on good behaviour for a period of time. This essentially means that the person must not be charged with a criminal offence . Peace bonds often have other conditions too, such as not having any weapons or staying away from a person or place."

From what I've heard, it was the lowest of assault charges. Could've even been verbal, IDK tho.

I agree. Could actually help Osuna and take pressure off him. Still hope he is not guilty though.

Sounds like a form of probation. Anyone here familiar with the Canadian common law system?

Not to belittle anybody's morals... but that just seemed a little over the top.

Reminds me also of the people who swore they would never spend another minute on this team when they switched leagues from the NL to the AL... many of those people still frequent these boards and still very much were going to the games last year as they won it all.

Also interesting to see people note the suspension length as a reflection of the severity...

By that logic, Forrest Whitley is a much worse person, and did a much worse thing, than Aroldis Chapman.

Do we know for sure that a female wrote that?

Some sharp conclusions being drawn on your part...

Criminal aliens are barred from the United States.

    President Trump, please intervene.
