I don’t see him going to the Rockets, but Rodney Hoodie Melo is third only to Chris Paul George and [Rudy Gay, Kevin Love, + Ramon Sessions] as names I would like to see playing together at some point

Rodney Hood reminds me of an offensive version of Ronnie Brewer, as in, he's probably not gonna be in the NBA much longer.

Rodney Hood terrible? Based off what, some ridiculous analytic stat? If you've seen the guy play you'd know he has a nice skill set. He had a bad year in Cleveland. But he's already proven he can play in Utah

If he’s not happy with his role in Cleveland, he won’t be happy here either on a stacked Rox team.

It’s actually impossible to get Hood. Cavs would love to have him at $5 million per year; and if he signs an offer with us that is exactly what they would get.

    Ok. Where do I start

Sure he "thrived" in the regular seasons in Utah. One can argue he's an offense juggernaut. Many weapons. But even when speaking of offense he's got plenty of weak spots. He cannot finish around the rim (check for yourself). Nothing stands out as top notch. Ironically, he is more efficient when he needs the ball more often in his hands. His efficiency in Cleveland waned significantly because he was asked to play off-ball more. Thing is, Do we need a ball dominant player?

Defensively, other than physical advantage (size and athleticism), what aspect is impressive?!

He certainly is content playing off bench isn't he?!

Worse. Talking about playoff. Ghastly, consistently. The one thing he can do fine during the regular season, offense, he sucked big time. Consistently. Played 11 games and 17 games in playoffs for Utah and Cleveland, respectively. Disgusting performance. This is when I talk about stats. In Utah, 11 games, -5.5 OBPM, 43% TS. In Cleveland, 17 games, -5.2 OBPM, 47% TS.6.5 PER overall. How nice. Not to mention his guts, despite all these abysmal performance, to refuse to enter the game.

And he never gets injured, does he?!

Man. He's the type of player like Michael Beasley. Easily passing the eye tests, gets you excited when looking at the highlights, but when you look harder, yes, he is terrible.
