I hope Ernie Grunfeld's love for targeted players is as strong as Morey's

    FROM SUMMER OF 2016

    https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...ttention-toward-ryan-anderson-in-free-agency/

I don't think Ryno will have an issue coming off the bench in 2018 lol

    OPM forever!!!

If we take Batum he should come with a first.

I just tried a few of the trades mentioned on the NBA trade machine.
    1) MKG and Williams straight up for Ryno doesn’t work. Salaries have to match. We would have to throw in Onuaku or someone else. That trade gives us +3 wins.
    2) Batum straight up for Ryno gives us +2 wins
3)Bazemore for Ryno gives us +2 wins
    4) Aminu & Harkless for Ryno gives us +2 wins
4B) Harkless/Leonard for Ryno gives us +1 win
    5) Shumpert and Koufos for Ryno takes away a win.
    6) Sefolosha/Crowder for Ryno doesn’t work and they don’t have another player to trade that makes up for the difference in salary
    7) Ryno and EG for Butler and Gibson gives us +11 wins
    8) Johnson & Richardson gives us +4 wins. Most likely Heat don’t include Richardson and instead give us Winslow or Waiters.
8B) with Winslow and Johnson it gives us +3 wins
8C) Waiters and Johnson only works if we give them back Onuaku and it gives us +2 wins
8D) Ryno for Olynyk and Johnson doesn’t work. Have to throw in Onuaku as well.
    9) Ryno for Porter doesn’t work. You have to throw in Nene as well and possibly multiple draft picks

What would y’all think of this trade? I know a lot of people are attached to EG and he is a great 6th man. Love him on this team. Getting Butler and Gibson and getting rid of Anderson would be huge though.

Bazemore and Batum are looking pretty realistic targets.

Millsap would be amazing imo, 30k but team option next summer, we would be likely able to resign him to a very team friendly deal...i just don't see Denver trade him after they got rid of Faried and Arthur with a 1st rounder, and tbh i don't see us going after him with Melo here.

Warren and Knight is kinda intriguing for me but i'm not sure hom much it makes sense, especially for Knight...

It's not likely to happen, but I would swallow it like a bitter pill. I like Eric Gordon very much.

Addendum: Nook is a good insider. I'm glad Eric is all right, with having Melo on the Rockets, per his report.
Eric wants to win an NBA Championship with the Rockets, just like Harden and Chris.

Batum makes the most sense, he has a long contract 3/4 years left?, and is paid pretty high plus as you mentioned his injuries and fit

He wouldn’t be playing starter minutes so maybe he could get some rest before playoffs and be our KD stopper

I still think there could be something to Otto Porter Jr.

He's on a huge 3 year deal that is pushing Washington well into the luxury tax, and between Kelly Oubre and that SF they just drafted at #15, they already have a good succession plan. They were very interested in Ryno in 2016, though we could still use Sacramento as a dumping ground if they don't want him.

Porter could absolutely be traded, but why us? There are going to be better offers out there for the players that teams actually want, like Porter.
