Also everyone should really stop crying over this quote lol. Him starting isn’t bad, especially if he goes out when CP does and then comes back with him to take over 2nd units which most likely will be the plan.

 

He himself is essentially whining.

 

The Warriors and Celtics will be the only teams that will give us trouble. That's it so all the melo haters need to stop crying. With or without Melo the same would hold true. So sit back and relax and enjoy one of the best offensive teams to load the chamber next season.

 

as a starter he's a defensive sieve. what a horrible offseason

 

It's fine if he starts, but he should be aware that at the end of games we're playing our five best and it doesn't include him.

 

is not him starting that rubs me the wrong way, its his mindset. he still is showing a "me, myself, and i" mentality and more often than not it doesn't help any team win or their chemistry

The problem isn't wether Melo should start or not. The problem is that he wouldn't be willing to come off the bench if it's later decided that that's what's best for the team. He's not good enough to be calling the shots anymore. With his current skill level he should just shut up and do as he's told.

 

This coming off the bench or not coming off the bench thing is going to last a while.

 

I don't think its weither or not he starts. I think the problem is his diva attitude.

Well...this isn't a comforting thing to hear at all.

It's not so much him coming off the bench that's actually important, just his willingness to do so for the good of the team. If we add another player, or if a certain unit seems to function better. This just sounds like he still thinks he's a superstar, and expects to be treated accordingly. Coming off the bench is beneath him.

His attitude has always been the biggest question, and if this is the answer then I'm not feeling great about his mindset.
