    Decreased by nearly a trillion dollars from his high of nearly $1.5 Trillion. So you're trumpeting the fact that he eventually got close to the large deficits that Bush was running. Not exactly an accomplishment to laude.

    How do you think Obama grew our national debt from $11 billion to $20 billion? By surpluses?

    Ok you are obviously playing stupid I think but I will explain anyway against my better judgment of this being an unwise investment of time

    You understand that there are two components? Receipts and Spend right? When Obama took office it was the teeth of the Great Recession and he inherited a 1.5 trillion dollar shortfall - a combination of Bush Tax cuts, loss in revenue from the downturn, the bailout (mostly structured under Bush) and and emergency stimulus to save the economy.

    Every year until 2015 he cut the deficit.

    Seems like the GOP has a habit of lowering taxes and increasing spending at the wrong time..... that Obama was on to something.

    deficits (the results of operation for a fiscal year)

    What's amazing is that you claim to have an MBA yet have no sense of how we got to a 1.5 trillion dollar deficit It's like you had no idea what happened from 2001 - 2007

    Aren't MBAs merely degrees for networking, have the easiest curriculum, are easier than even most undergrad degrees and have really nothing to do with macroeconomics?
