Shh! We’re supposed to wallow in self pity over the Warriors success.

I hope we could sigh Gregg Monroe.

    Nene and Black are terrible.

Black won’t be retained but if Nene can recapture his 017 form where he was arguably the best backup center in the league then great.

It seems the Rockets were willing to pay the full $600k buyout for Isaiah.

¿? I don't know if you watched the games but he definitely looked improved. 12 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3 blocks, in 21 minutes, making 73% of his shots. The most important, he looked more assertive, had some good finishes, endured longer stretches playing at high intensity... Qi looked improved, still not ready (have in mind he was super raw when he arrived), but promising. This season the coaches and teammates should push him every day, and we'll see if he takes advantage of it like Capela, if he has that edge on him, or if he's not as competitive and ends being a low profile player.

I don't mind Hartenstein being given a chance.

    There's no way Ennis starts.

I think PJ Tucker goes to the SF position and Melo starts at PF.

I think we can assume both melo and tucker play a lot of 4. Tucker will plsy some 3, and Ennis will pick up the rest of the minutes

    Starters- CP3/JH/Melo/PJ/Capela

    Harden unit- JH/EGO/GG/PJ/Hartenstein

    CP3 unit- CP3/EGO/Ennis/Melo/Capela

Finishers- CP3/EGO/JH/Melo/PJ/Capel- some combination of these 6

That doesn't augur well for Wright, or the Rockets unfortunately. I didn't have any expectations from him. His chronic injuries have taken a heavy toll on him.

Only approximately 3.6 M of the MLE, will be left if Melton is signed with part of it, on the same terms as Hartenstein.

The chances of acquiring a significant role player is quite low with that. And it will be even less likely to be useful by the February deadline. James Nunnally might be available with it today, but once he signs in Europe, it will be hard to acquire him as a piece for the playoffs.

Bebe could be signed with the remainder of it, but he is a 5. He is more advanced than Hartenstein. Nanu and even our beloved Nene can't help us out. Trevor Booker might get a bigger deal elsewhere, but he could be a useful player to target too. He can be a 3/D backup for PJ. DM is neglecting this valuable need. Melo can't cut it on D, at his age.

I would seriously vomit If we signed “Bebe”.

    Just gross man.

Harden will also play 3 (EGo at 2) when Rockets play death line up.

He is unplayable against Golden State.

An old school PF that would have been slightly better If it was 1992.

I’ll throw Vet Mins at guys all day, but If we are looking for game changers in free agency, there are none left. Wait for buyout season, save the money.

I would gamble that Dork Elvis vehemently disagrees with this statement.

    Booker, Bebe, Nunnaly.

Those are our options? Jesus guys. I’m pretty damn sure we can do better in buyout season.

Morey grabbed Josh Smith, Michael Beasley, Gerald Green. Maybe we should give it some time? Lots of nice Vets on terrible teams this year.
