Anderson's tough, better against RHB than lefties, pitches well at home, has shut down the Dodgers, Giants, DBacks and Mariners his last 4 starts (last 3 were at home, 3ER in 20 IP).
wow the A's are only 2.5 behind. This would be quite a meltdown for the Mariner's if they're overtaken. A 2-game sweep would be awesome here. But all those naysayers to shame claiming we can't hang with the better teams.
Since getting swept by the Stros in the middle of June, A's are 24-8, Mariners are 16-15 (haven't been playing enough 1-run games, they're 5-2 in those). Stros are 21-11 for reference.
You think marwin is a better option at ss than bregs? Gurriel is a solid 3rd baseman. Its his actual position. Marwin really sucks at the middle infield spots and is really best suited for a lf/1b and occasional 3rd base role.
This. Also, Davis at 1B instead of Marwin. That's his natural position, and by far his best defensively. And tonight we face a LHP. I do not trust righty Marwin, he sucks.
Whoever picked the start time for this game was high, forcing me to waste 40 minutes watching the ESPYs. Although i must admit the JR Smith joke was pretty good.
