I see alot of potential in Duval, but we kept the right player in Melton.

We probably didn't see enough in him to offer that when we have better players that can take up our 2-way slots.

This is a bummer. he was one of the best PG's in summer league. But we have our 2-way contracts already spoken for with Clark and Edwards.

    Do you know him?

Do you know he was once the MVP of the summer league also and where is he now?

I invested a lot of time in Mr.Duval. Rockets must feel he really can’t shoot.

We didn't have the space for him. Good for him. I hope he develops, the kid has a lot of promise

It's pretty pointless getting worked up over a Summer League player. It's literally a lotto ticket. For every Montrezl Harrell, there's a Donte Greene.

I see where you're going but he's more explosive that Ish. I would say he's most comparable to Eric Bledsoe, which is cool because he'll get to practice and workout with him now. And Bledsoe is a notorious workout warrior, should be fun

I’d say Ish has more speed and quickness actually.

    Mini-Lebron?

I don’t see that at all. He barely defends and he is much more cerebral than Bledsoe, but far less physically gifted.

Couldnt read the tweet. But im guessing someone else picked up Duval. Bummer. We'll end paying for it when he finally blows up. Who was the lucky team?

Melton should be on a guaranteed contract. Yes, he needs some minutes in the G-League, but Duval could have benefited in the RGV. He would have gotten significant minutes. Good luck to him.

Incorrect. They have signed Exhibit 10 contracts. It's a 1 year guaranteed contract that can be converted to a two way contract.
This. however spells doom for the possibility of signing Deng to a 2 way contract too. Edwards is a better defender, but Deng's upside and talent is better. Edwards will spend a lot time in the G-League. Adel wont get any minutes in the RGV.
