Lol I mean its not something thats really common knowledge so I get it but I thought they'd at least do some research.
You absolutely can. Ariza goes 0fer in game 7 and Luc was a no show the entire series. Melo will eclipse them both alone.
At first I thought I was the few who was happy with bringing Melo on board but then I see this poll and 90 % like it? Lol so many complainers about Melo you’d think it would be 90 % who didn’t like him coming to Houston. I also feel he’s gonna help the Roxs more than Ariza. I love Ariza but I also love Melos offensive game. Luc was nice but when he didn’t play Roxs didn’t miss a beat !!!!
Fans value the known (Ariza/Luc) than the unknown (Anthony/Ennis) then don't post something like this, as this says otherwise. might want to clear up your own post if you can't even understand it
He was hurt. Of course he didn't. That does not mean he was useless all year and would have been useless if he was healthy.
Agreed. To his credit though, he was guarding KD most the time and KD didn't care. He was making shots on everyone.
I think it comes down to guys saying it only matters what Melo can do vs Golden State in reference to losing Ariza and LMM. They then use LMM not playing vs GSW and you guys being up 3-2 and Ariza playing poor pretty much all series and you being better with him on the bench to say that they aren't needed as much as some guys think they are. Honestly tho we won't know until the season starts and the playoffs arrive to see who's right.
Yeah I said earlier if KD is gonna get 30 anyway might as well put someone on the side who can get you 20+ to keep up.
Agreed. What it does show is we were 3-2 without him. He could help IF HEALTHY. No reason to think he is.
People also don't realize this forces Ennis, Green, and Anderson to all get legitimate minutes. Green probably has to stay in the rotation....UGH.
Ennis was brought in to be a defensive guy, he will take the bulk of Ariza mins. Green and Melo (probably start) will work into rotation. Your trading Def for Off. Mostly against 2nd units.
No one says he is useless. He was great, particularly before having TWO INJURIES TO THE SAME SHOULDER. You know who else used to be great? Brandon Roy. Why doesn't he play on the Trailblazers anymore?
Everyone knows he had an a** year. The hope is the change in organization OKC --> HOU and teammates revitalizes his career to some degree like we have seen so many times before across all sports. If not, he is on the vet minimum.
