If I was one of these guys I'd be looking at what teams like Barcelona or Madrid would pay me. Definitely worse things than spending the last few years of your career on A.) one of the best teams in B.) the second best league in the world and C.) some of the most beautiful cities on Earth.

 

He could probably EASILY lead their team to the playoffs and win at least the first round

 

If I have made as much money as Wade....... I have ZERO desire to have to spend month a year in disgusting China.

it's one thing to call a person or place disgusting, it's another to generalize a whole country. you sir are disgusting.

 

Still can’t beleive an NBA team gave Ariza $15 million dollars for 1 year so 3 years 25M doesn’t seem that much especially for China and Wade who’s already more than set for life but the thing is Wade is an absolute legend over there.

His WoW (Way of Wade) shoes by Li Ning is crazy popular in those parts. My buddy developed his shoes and he left me his collection to sell since he had multiples of every pair ever made and had to move to China to work for Li Ning. Got to meet Wade thru him as well since they kept in close contact. Super cool dude btw. Some pairs went for as much as $1500 and a lot of the buyers were from China. I think he’s at least strongly considering it but I think he still has a couple years to produce at a high level albeit at selected/limited periods in the NBA. Think game 2. Absolutely dominated and easily was the best player on the court full of young future superstars.



As for China too soon. Probably not now and not for 3 years but I can definitely see him doing a year there as a Thanks and giving back to his Chinese fans once he’s done here.
