How is okc above the jazz? They lost in the play offs and they lost their third leading scorer for a pg that cannot shoot...
At first it was: "Russ has no help!" Then he got help and it became: "No, no he got the wrong help. Melo messed it up!" Its hilarious, I wonder what the excuse will be at the end of next season. Hes a great and vicious player but man the excuses are getting old.
Am I reading something wrong? Were the Jazz really rated fifth overall going into last season? EDIT: oh, I'm guessing the previous rank was at the end of last season...never mind...it's early.
Watch out for Boston. Young guys did a good job last year, now add in Gordon and Kryie. I underestimated in every playoff series last year.
That was actually my first takeaway. I mean, I get that they are excited about PG returning. It saves the franchise. But it is like Melo was a boat anchor for them and now they float to the top? uh... No way should OKC be above Utah, that's for sure.
Jazz will take a big dump on OKC like they did last year. OKC didn't gain anyone of significance other than Shroeder who is still waiting for his assault thing. They switched out many parts in the last few seasons, they actually had tons of talent, they just don't play winning basketball at all.
Thats the thing with OKC they don't play winning ball and thats not going to change. Westbrook/PG playing your turn, my turn with no shooting around them is going to be brutal unless they're both hot.
OKC sucked against Utah even with Melo on the bench, so it makes no sense really that the addition of Dennis Schroder would move a team up from 14th to 6th ahead of the team who just beat them in a series, a team with a young star who will be even better next season & whom hasn't even hit his prime yet.
Funny. I think it is a reasonable ranking; however, Toronto should be higher and OKC lower. The sad news is that there is no parity and if GS stays healthy, the regular season is meaningless. The other top NBA teams at least have a "puncher's chance."
OKC is about to have laughably bad spacing next year if they roll out a starting lineup of Russ Roberson PG Grant Adams then that will be very formidable defensively, but u can pretty much play off of Roberson and Grant, and Russ sucks as a 3 point shooter...we all know Adams isn’t spacing the floor as bad as Melo was last season, he at least provided some space offensively
this Termine dude needs to just stop it... How tf do u have OKC above Houston and as a top 3 team in the NBA?
