I doubt they did, they knew he would't get the chance to do any of that playing with Russ. They wanted Melo to sit on the wing like he did.
Melo always looks good in 1v1, but in games he takes too long and often makes the selfish play. I would rather see highlights of him making hockey assist passes and no-dribble catch and shoots.

just calling it like it is. what would be very positive would be for Melo to get in the best shape of his career, devote himself to helping the team win in any way that is needed, put his head down ...and prove me wrong. But i'm not impressed by the lovehandles or him lumbering past some dude in practice.
