Yes Melo! Welcome to H-Town! No doubt playing a free-wheeling, super fun happy time system with your BFF, is going to unleash some sort of Olympic/Hoodie hybrid bucket monster... Hoodlympic Melo?
Also Morey must be giggling his ass off about being able to get his man 1 year later for free.... Cheers Knicks.
Melo will provide what we hoped Joe Johnson acquisition would have added to Rockets. Melo is Ryno + Iso Joe combined into a single player. And on the cheap, what is there to complain about??? Just need to trade Ryno for a couple of long switchy physical athletic defenders and season is full go to #runitback. Save MLE for a buyout upgrade heading into postseason. GSW should be very concerned.
With the vet min he could be. Wright and Nogueria would be my FA targets for our 3rd C next to Nene. I think we need another C unless our coaches have a really strong confidence in either Hartenstein/Qi filling that position if Nene/Capela gets injured. I'd favorite Nogueria over Wright due to age and injury problems, that being said IF Wright can stay healthy he's a very good option as well. T.Chandler could be bought out (but honestly would rather have Wright/Nog instead due to lateral quickness). Trade possibilities, perhaps Dedmon or Richuan Holmes.
To me, Melo signing the min means that Morey was not negotiating out of desperation. He had leverage and Melo succumb. That's why I like this signing. This is totally different from 2014 when Morey was pretty much groveling to try to get Melo to come.
who says we didn't ? it is just guess work by fans about it. We won't miss him too much, we won a lot without him. Ennis will cover anything he brought
I kept wondering about this, but there's been radio silence. He was rehabbing with us last I heard, so I thought that was at least an indicator of remaining mutual interest. With our luck, his leg probably fell off by now.
Please dont bring up tyson on this team. Makes my body tingle. Man that would be unreal him backing up clint. Melo cp3 harden some switchy guys man. Thats a chip
Wow, you must like Tyson a lot! He was a beast back in his days, but I fear at soon to be 36 years old he might not have much to offer anymore at this point in his career. Nevertheless, if he gets bought out, and we don't have any better options, wouldn't mind taking a flyer on him for the minimum.
Uh, why can't he be the third or fourth option? Guy averaged over 20ppg up until last year. Dumbbbb. Stop writing.
