If you bring melo off the bench he will be playing more with harden the way we do minutes. Harden typically plays the whole first quarter. Why not just start melo for 4-5 minutes with CP3 and Harden where melo can be more of a shooter. Then melo can play a majority of the 2nd with paul as a shooter and scorer. 25-30 minutes a game roll. Id prefer to play melo less with harden and no paul. This whole notion of melo having to be on the bench is stupid and shows you didnt pay attention to how the roster was used last year.
I have no idea. Maybe it was the other hand, or maybe the story was exaggerated. I've heard that even hairline fractures are painful though. Maybe as painful as a sore hamstring.....LOL.
Carmelo Anthony will be the equivalent of a designated hitter. He's basically here for offensive production but when called upon he'll be asked to play at least average defense. I'm fine with that.
Did look like he was gripping too hard there. I see nothing there that indicates he didnt have a hurt hand. He just finished playing, he just played in a game and dribbled a ball. A hand pat handshake isnt going to phase him lol
Lol. If you have a "broken hand" you've been playing with for 3 straight games, you're not going to be doing handshakes with your kids right after the game is over. That narrative was created by Lebron and the media ran with it. Which is EXACTLY my point about the media picking & choosing narratives
Carmelo was destined to be a Houston Rocket. Eight years in the making. We'll see what he's got left in the tank. http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1571/carmelo_anthony_houston_rockets/
This is some strong revisionist history. Anybody who actually watched the NBA knew exactly who Luc was.
I think we are undervaluing the impact he is going to have. These are the easiest shots he will have ever had. The most spacing he has ever seen. James Harden is average to below average as a defender but still seems to make a lot of impact plays on that side of the ball. I expect Melo to be about the same. He can be effective on the interior and help his cause there by focusing on defensive rebounding. I believe he has enough left to hold his own on the perimeter (off a switch) against most players, especially if CC is behind him. Neither James or Chris are selfish and there are plenty of shots to go around. All of the opportunites that Ryan/PJ/Trevor seemed to piss or pump fake away will now be conversions.
Let us all remember who shut down k.d. last year on the rockets lmao. N how k.d. got to rest on ariza. I shouldnt have to say anything else. #newmath
