Carmelo Anthony traded to Hawks, will be bought out

Understand this...the players want Melo, regardless of some old, bad blood with MDA. It's over. Westbrook changed Melo...he ruined part of his legacy....wait for that interview. Melo only played the 4 spot because Russ wanted spacing for Adams and PG...

I've been burned by Presti...especially that deadline when Taj and Dougie were on the way, but last year, Melo thought he would get the best shots possible. He got shots out of his element...H'es great with the quick release.

Be patient.

This highlighted part is shocking considering their roster having Jarren Jackson, Parsons, K.Anderson, Green and Casspi packing that 4 spot. Grizz are also dangerously close to lux tax and adding Ryan would probably guarantee that for them.

That ish ain't happening lol. Considering Parsons health, I'd much rather Keep Anderson at 8 million cheaper.

 

Curious what Memphis would do in a Ryno trade. Sure there is Parsons but that doesn’t make sense for us. Gasol is aging very fast but he would be a nice backup big to have at this point in his career. The Grizz would save about 8 mil or so since I’m assuming Gasol would exercise that player option, but I don’t know what the Rockets could offer to get him away from Memphis.

 

Ryno for Bazemore in some fashion still makes the most sense. Atlanta probably says no, as Bazemore has slightly less negative value than Ryno—even if they don’t care about winning, Bazemore is still a 3nD Type player who is at 36% for his career and 39% last year from three. Their contracts are about equally undesirable. Rockets could do it if they threw in a second rounder or two perhaps.

Other than willful stubbornness, what other reason could there be to not trust him?? Every GM makes mistakes, but Morey has shown a willingness to admit his, and has tried to move swiftly to fix them.
