Ehh.. we won the series. I would rather lose 14-5 than 3-2 after a blown save. I'm glad I stopped watching after 5-1 though.

We had a bunch of awful losses last year...

    13-3 loss to the Mariners
    13-4 loss to the Yankees
    9-0 loss to the Phillies
    13-1 loss to the Tigers
    12-2 loss to the Rangers
    11-1 loss to the A's
    11-4 loss to the A's
    10-2 loss to the A's
    9-1 loss to the Angels

    = WORLD CHAMPS

And the Astros probably saved some money in arbitration now that Devenski's ERA is over 3.00

Davis fan here. I read that he was actually 1B (and P) ONLY in college, and that it was Luhnow's idea to try him at 3rd. While I guess he can play there and LF in an emergency, 1B is the only place he should start. When he plays first, he's really good. Yuli is not bad at third base at all. Yuli at 3B and Davis at 1B puts them in their natural positions. Also, to say something positive, I was very happy to see Davis deliver a nice clutch hit in the second to drive in Gattis.

    Season over. Cut McCullers.

Do the Astros even like playing baseball?

Devo is just being a suckass this season. He hasn't been overworked, he's not being juggled between starter and reliever, there's no excuse.

Nah, he played some 3B but was pretty much relegated to RF/1B (mostly RF as a Jr and 1B as a Soph) when Matt Chapman moved to 3B from SS/2B.

We need another reliever. I do not trust will Harris or devo in the playoff

Only the 5th time all year we've lost by 5 or more runs. Haven't gotten many ass kickings like that.

Oh well, 2 of 3 is always the goal.
