Holy ****, Kemp at DH in the 7-hole? Is this a first? Man I wish we had some more L/R balance in the lineup.
If/when Tucker gets going, he'll provide some of that. Same with Marwin. Its not so bad when our right-handers do just as well (if not better) against RHP.
You're still rolling with the "same as Marwin"? You have more faith than I do. I get what you're saying, and I agree, and I don't think they should change it, I just wish the 5 best hitters weren't all RH and stacked at the top of the lineup.
I wish Marwin would get it going again. But at the 100 game mark, I am fully convinced last season was just a massive outlier. A total fluke. He's back to being a barely replacement-level player. Please give us more Davis, or even Reed for a lefty bat (and to get him ready for his ALDS starts against Cleveland ). This is why if we trade for a non-catcher bat, it should be a left handed hitter. This (and his hefty contract) are why I really don't want Abreu.
Springer, Altuve and Reddick have got good wood on Tropeano, but they have been caught, or went foul.
Tigers up 2-0 vs Sox 6th inning. Hold that lead, plus Astros W Yankees L last night has Stros #2 legitimately (mathematically) in a long while.
