We only lost Ariza and replaced him with Ennis, MCW and Melo. Luc didn't play against the Warriors, you take out Ariza and add Melo, Ennis and MCW in that 7 game series last year and we beat the Warriors.

If James is continuing to give a professional effort on D, you can do worse than cp, Harden, Melo, Tucker, Capela. Having a starting lineup that will average 100 by themselves is pretty insane. Gordon is a good defender as well, and qi is about to earn playing time on blocks. Ennis is supposed to be a good defender too. If you can squeeze 35 points from Gordon, green, ennis, Qi, whoever is backing Capela....that’s a tough proposal to face.
Melo ranked 73th out of 84 power forwards last year in DRPM...but Ryno was 81st. So yes, at a wing Melo will get killed, but a stretch 4 he'll just suck at about the same level on defense as Ryno. Lol DRPM. Thunder had a top 12 ranked defense with Melo on the floor last season. Team defense>Individual defense

Lol Durant is better on offense when he doesn't have to play defense too. Giving a little on one end to get more on the other end isn't bad.
