Yes sir. Ryno was shooting around 60% on passes from CP early in the season on those plays before he went AWOL on us... SMH I think Melo would fill that role pretty well and I guarantee you he wont go AWOL on taking the open shots. haha
i have such mixed feelings about melo joining the rockets. on one hand, i can't really think of another NBA player i've loathed more through the last decade and a half than Melo. There are few if any that make that list. I hate his selfish play and attitude, the ego, the lack of hustle and defense, his focus on money rather than winning ...oh and that cheap shot sucka punch from behind (you know what i'm talking about). But for a couple of mil, i totally understand why it makes sense to add him. I'm holding my breath. I'd rather have had a Luc-Melo pairing at the 4-spot instead of just Melo, but hopefully we'll find a way to fill the defense gap. On the plus side, it will be nice to have a front court player that can create his own offense. At present we've got 3 guards that can do that, but no one else on the roster.
Do Paul and Harden have the balls to tell Anthony he needs to come off the bench and know his role? I think Gordon makes a better starter because of defense... Anthony is too non existent and a loser as a starter.
I think Gordon should start too. Green, Melo, Anderson off the bench isn't bad, at least offensively.
Melo hasn't joined the Rockets yet, Heat still in play, and curveballs like the Lakers or an Eastern team are always possible.
