    People!!!! A player will play with the right people. He hasn't had "the right people" in years. We're not gonna be asking him to play any other role that what he does best in this system. We make people look good here. We replaced Ariza and Mbahamoute with James Ennis and hopefully Melo soon.

    I don't actually see OKC keeping Schroder.. Magic maybe? Augustine and Simmons works. Helps both teams and OKC save a biiiit more money.

    I admit watching the Thunder spend their future first to dump Melo and take back a contract that was still not very favorable according to Atlanta, that's pretty damn good. They still are paying tax. OKC thinks its a win and by all means if they were to win a championship then its worth it, but this is basically the same team that lost to Donovan Mitchell while Joe Ingles outplayed Paul George. Sketchy. I mean LONG LIVE PRESTI! A GOD AMONG GMS!

    Shroeder is a no defence, can't shoot, malcontent who is going to be judged for a felony and may get deported.
    Who in their right mind would pay a first to get him? Noone wanted him even for free.
    Atlanta is the one who won this trade by a mile.
    They got rid of Shroeder while taking back only an expiring and a first. Unbelievable.

    People who say that have no idea of what trouble Shroeder is on and off the court. He had negative value on a long term contract. Has shown no improvement on his skills and his future NBA carreer is even in doubt since there is camera evidence of him beating a person up.

    Schroeder is owed over $15m for 3 more seasons. ATL wanted out of that contract. They have to spend 90% of the cap so why not pay Melo for 1 year and get out of the final 3 years of Schroeder's deal? Plus they get a first round pick

    What's not to like?
