    and he locks down on D, gets to every loose ball and has a better +/- than any other C (IIRC); he's got some Bev to him tho Bev'll knock down the open 3.

    Biggest mistake Balmer made in his new kickstart of that moribund franchise was not renaming the team. ANY name would have been miles ahead of Clips. IMO you proved the point.

    Clips' roster ain't too shabby, missing STAR POWER, but are capable of making a run for a p/o spot.

    PLUS: Clips do not have LeBron whom some reports claim is the anti-draw for KL to LAL.

    That trade doesn't make much sense. Dennis apparently is not a good locker room guy, plus OKC only sheds $8M and still has to pay a massive lux tax deal. I think they would rather stretch Melo and save a ton more.

    I'm calling this rumor bs.

    I agree. Plus it’s Mitch Lawrence...but it may explain why OKC hasn’t waived him yet? At least I’m hoping. Just want a resolution.

    I hear deadline for stretching is till August 31, so I don't know why they would be in any hurry. Might as well keep exploring the market just in case. Ultimately I think they will stretch him, but I guess timewise it really doesn't make a difference for them.
