Why does Tony Clark still have a job?

He has had a loud voice over the last 15 years when the MLBPA painted themselves into this mess. Now their "rights" are under attack LOL (this comical statement is even funnier given it's context on this forum)

Don't monkey with the game please, Manfred, by regulating shifts and stipulating where fielders have to be positioned. Teams should be able to put them wherever they want, just like it's been for the entire modern history of baseball. Hitters will have to adjust, and they will.

Interviewing guys before they hit is ridiculous imo.

We've got the best players on Earth, we've got Medal of Honor recipients, we've got the nation's capitol...and we've got Joe Buck.

Trouts power is so easy. So is that jd martinez guy, y'all know anything about him? Wouldn't he look great in an Astros uniform?

I don’t remember him having that much arm. Hit 99 on the gun. Not sure I’ve seen the fastball under 97.

I wanna say he always had at least 97 when he was in our farm. Always been a hard thrower

In hindsight, can't believe he sat on the market for as long as he did. Everyone was pinching their pennies! ;)

In hindsight, luhnow should've traded him and got something for him in return. :(

Oh yeah. He's always had the arm, just no control. He still walks too many guys and doesn't pitch deep into games (pitched past the 6th in 3 of 18 starts). Just noticed his ERA was right at 2 until he got shelled in this last 2 starts.

In hindsight, every front office in baseball didn't have that foresight.

Man life has come full circle. My 5 and 8 year old boys watched the first two innings with me and now they are in the next room all pumped up playing Astros vs the All Stars. Love the sound of that.

Glad they love this game like I do and man do they love it.

Trout has a HR in an ASG.... I'm shocked.

MLB Network said his best comparison in history is Mickey Mantle.

Jeff is the smartest guy in any room, he shouldve sold them on it.
