I don't know where you get that... by accountable, they mean demanding trump's people explain what happened in Finland (and now probably in Belgium and Singapore). And if the answers aren't acceptable, demand trump provide answers. The congress has a responsibility to do this.
LOL, so I'm inferring that some of the resident bilge-carriers have said it is "diplomatic" to insult our own country -- i.e. "hate America," which was so out-of-vogue even recently -- and insult our long-time allies right and left, all while accepting the proven (sorry, can't wriggle your way out of it now) cyber-attacks from an autocratic hostile nation. Just wow. It's like a dystopian novel on steroids, but one I desperately want to quit reading.
what really happened besides Trump railing on the media, Democrats and saying he doesn't believe Putin was involved with interfering in the election? What did Russia get from this meeting?
Imagine your President just committed treason in front of the whole God damned world and the first thing you run to is "But Hillary". WOOF.
They got to bring their orange-colored dog out on a leash and have him obey his master in front of the entire world.
Easy. You know I didn't post that because I was a fan of it. LoL. It was insulting and mostly panned by both sides.
How about hope the president of the United States to back his OWN intelligence agency over a former head of the KGB and leader of American’s number one adversary.
At this point, what russia got from trump during the two+ hours trump met with putin in private is unknown and based on what we did see... even more frightening. But just based on what we saw... trump defended russia and putin, disagreed with the clear findings of the entire US intelligence community (and worse, called out his dni by name), he blamed the U.S. for any bad thing russia did, and then narrowed that blame to the targets of his personal vendetta (Democrats, Obama, the media). Then further embarrassed himself and the country by bringing up his election, Mueller's investigation, and "collusion". putin could not have asked for more... well, I guess he could have asked for the return of Alaska. Which may have been discussed in the private meeting.
LOL... trump now trying to walk back what he said... so now he looks like a wimp alongside putin and now in walking back his statements... pathetic!
LOL ok but he believes Putin. What kind of complete evidence did Putin give Trump that made Trump come to that conclusion. Perhaps a TAPE maybe?
I was playing around ;-). Everyone is too serious and dramatic about this stuff that has almost no consequence to their lives. And to your last sentence that I bolded...we have no discourse here or almost anywhere online. People have selected their sides, like sports teams, and only look to defend and reinforce them. Ego and pride take over and both sides dig in further in order to avoid recognizing the possibly of their view possibly being incorrect or maybe not as correct as it could be. Further, it’s close to impossible to have an in depth discussion online since a person from an opposing view point will only look to hyperfocus on anything potentially wrong or not stated perfectly and use that as a way to completely devalue the person as a reasonable or thoughtful person. Also, people are just coming here looking for a fight or confrontation too. This isn’t some sort of pursuit of truth going on here in this forum lol. I also think the more reasonable people just give up on posting online as a way to discuss politics and social issues and we are left with people who just want to fight. Additionally, nuance is extremely hard to convey online and is often completely ignored. Nuance is boring too. It’s a lot easier and more provocative to have a strong one sided thought rather than forcing yourself view things from the perspective of everyone involved. I had thought about starting a thread asking people when is the last time they changed their mind after having a discussion here in D&D or even from something in real life where they had a strongly held belief and then changed their mind after listening to various sides of the argument. I’m guessing the percentage of people who have done this from a D&D conversation is very low. Just my thoughts
The libturds are absolutely in tears over this meeting. This is almost better than 11/9. “Wtf I love patriotism now!”
Ok how about the rest of the GOP leadership are they libturds? I swear these Trump nut riders . It’s like whack a mole responding to their apologetic stupity of Trump.
I can't defend Trump today. Probably the worst day of his presidency so far. He's absolutely his own worst enemy at times.
