True, all of those chatacters are orders of magnitude smarter and more introspective than 45. Today was a horrific milestone to witness for America. All American intelligence agencies say the same thing about the interference; an American grand jury found enough evidence to indict a dozen Russian government employees. But no, our president believes (and supports!) the former KGB agent and current dictator V. Putin. Unconscionable, for 45, but typical. Unconscionable for any American to support 45's performance.

I'm curious to understand what you hope or think could be achieved in meetings with Russia. Trump seems to think we could and should be allies, ultimately. I don't think we can or should, so even taking the meeting is dumb imo. But, is this what you'd hope for, that the US and Russia would be allies (assuming, of course, all stars align)?
No, it's if you are unhinged and whining, you are unhinged and whining. Again, what would you have had Trump do? Putin would never publicly admit to attempting to influence the election just like the US would never admit to trying to influence the Russian elections a few years back trying to turn Russian opinion against him....something led by Hillary Clinton, which is what Putin was retaliating for. When you have a long history of hitting just about everyone and one of the people you have a history of hitting finally attempts to hit you back after the most recent time you hit them.....how long do you feign outrage? Do you go to war with them over it? I mean, isn't the diplomatic route the appropriate one in that instance? The goal is peace right?
Apparently they were hoping that Trump would declare war on Russia so that millions of people would die over Russia attempting to do what the US has done so many times before because the candidate for president they wanted to win was so awful that people didn't support her. Apparently when they don't get their way, people need to die.
