I grew up in League City and said I was from League City. Didn't feel right claiming to be a Houstonian when I didn't actually live in Houston. Then I lived in Houston for several years and was able to call it home. But then I moved back out to a different surrounding city so now I don't say I'm from Houston anymore. Now, it's "Cypress, which is northwest of Houston." In summary, there's no realistic way we can get Butler unless we trade away CP3.
I've lived out of state since 2006 and rep Houston. I like Sugar Land and all, but no one out West is going to care what the difference is between Sugar Land, Katy, Friendswood, and Conroe. In conclusion, we should cut Capela and start Zhou Qi.
Just playing man, I would love Jimmy. He's the only dude i like watching. He never complains, always play hard. Would actually trade PG13 for him! Hopefully we can get him.
Yeah, it's crazy. The opposite happens in Austin. If you live in Dripping Springs, or Round Rock, or Buda, and you're out of town on a trip? If someone asks where you're from, the answer almost always is, "I'm from Austin!" They don't usually say that if they're from Georgetown or San Marcos. They're proud of where they live. I can understand that. The towns have been there at least a century. Heck, I remember when the Woodlands was first being developed. It was way out to Hell and gone! I used to find mushrooms out that way. Of course, it was never hard to find mushrooms back then if you knew where to look.
wrong (for me at least) lmao, from spring, now live in the woodlands, i say im from Houston/ represent Houston
I'm from Spring and I tell people all the time I grew up in Houston. Sometimes I say just north of Houston. It's extremely common for people that are from a suburb of a big city to say they're from that city. I spent tons of time in the city of Houston, it's less than an hour away from Spring, I would never describe it as different worlds. It's just more suburban- hence the term "suburbs". All areas this close together, the city and the towns around it, are definitely strongly connected. Can't believe this is even a debate.
if you take 99 from where im from then branch off somewhere (i forgot) it takes me about 30 ish minutes to get downtown.... quicker than 45
He's not fed up he just doesn't want give up 50 million. Caution though, IT did the same thing and look what happened to him...
I don't trust you because I live in The Woodlands and tell everyone in my family and people I work with (out of state and country) I live in Houston.
I live on lake Conroe and say I’m from Houston when I’m away from Southeast Texas otherwise people don’t know where or what Conroe even is.
