Jimmy Butler is a top 5 SF in this league and arguably better than PG and Hayward. If you got the chance you give up anything other than Harden and CP3 for him

Getting rid of Hayward right after he chose to sign with you in FA is not good for PR.

U only trade kyrie if you have to. U domt attach one of ur young players when moving kyrie. U could get a good player with just trading kyrie

Neither is trading Isaiah Thomas after he carried the team and lost his sister. But Ainge doesn't care. Winning solves all PR issues.

Great point but if Ainge is low balling for Kawhi (top 5 player, not just SF) then why would he offer fair value for Butler? Especially when Ainge has multiple wings on his roster playing at high level.

Ainge loves getting value (almost as much as he loves winning) plus needs to improve 5 spot more. His team is already loaded and talented at every other position especially the wing.

Ainge did not dump all his prime assets to get Butler from Chicago a few years ago when they were dangling him then either.

Yep Aigne just wants Draft Picks! All THE DRAFT PICKS. Pop would just be crazy to do this especially after that foot... I still gag at the sight of that foot injury...

I agree with you--I'm not sure that Ainge would trade Hayward for Butler, but just pointing out that Ainge doesn't care about the PR implications of trading any of his players. He's going to make moves that he thinks make the team better. He's also in a prime position where he can do nothing and the team is still pretty much a lock for the Finals.

Yes, if Ainge could swap Hayward for Butler straight up (no picks or young talent attched) then he would but dont believe Minny would accept that.

Hell, Ainge might even demand a pick in addition to Butler, hes that cheap.

Gordon and Ryno could fit really well in that system. Gordon is especially since it would let Wiggins be 1A/1B with Kat.

Jimmy in Houston would be so badass, even with his lame ass Houston hate.

I wonder what the price would be, especially with the rumors of Kyrie and JB wanting to play together for the Knicks. They can't lose JB for nothing but at this point he is a one year rental.

Gordon + Melton + 2 draft picks + fillers should do.
