    Other than him not being in the basepaths (which is really hard to tell when he’s still on home plate), the only thing was if Lucroy somehow tagged him before the ball slipped.

    You gotta love Bregman on that play. Most players hit a little dribbler like that they pout and let the catcher tag them. He made the catcher work for it and he chucked it into RF.

    that's obviously common knowledge you can apply to the other available guys like hand and iglesias, who are not as good and also against trash competition their entire career.

    you're not rolling with the guys we have right now this post-season year, and you want to target a high quality guy. treinen is the best one, if he's available. that's all it comes down to really. pretty simple.

    if you disagree, please answer the other question and tell me who you think would be better? open to suggestions, genuinely curious.

    and yeah there's less shut down closers as before. bullpens in general are ****ing pathetic now.
