I'd just drop a C Note on the A's now and hedge out of it.

Hmmm...Verlander at home v Manaea (who loves MMP, btw, 1.24 ERA in 5 starts)

    Bold strategy, Cotton.

You take the run line or the money line?

Yea, I'm not expecting many/any runs from the 'stros given the struggles at home and the quality of Manaea but I'd love to be surprised.

Mantus and Manaea are good but not world beaters. Score some runs.

Verlander is well overdue for a W.

"Gerrit will be back," Hinch said. "Obviously, we support him and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. He lost his grandmother. That's the second [grandparent] this season for him. He'll be away from the team for a couple days, then he'll be back."

Jake, who never left Houston due to the AAA all-star break, gets the start tonight in CF.

Home game, Verlander pitching, Manaea pitching; that may be a recipe for another shutout. A's are coming into this game with back to back shutouts.

Some of you guys are acting like this is 2013. Sean Manea is good but he's not on Verlander's level. He was very good in April but has been average since.

It's more a reflection of my faith in the Astros home offense vs good pitching.

    Exactly. Baseball is like that.

Where is everybody in the Diamond Club? Haven't seen it that empty in a while.
