what he signs for is reduced by what they pay. He doesnt double dip. He isnt going to get bought out of all 28 million. Hes probably waived and stretched
Melo for the MLE. Melo made over $200 millions but he needs the MLE..even though being paid $27 millions by OKC...now we lose LUC because Melo won't play for minimum
This is a good point. Loosing Luc sucks and will hurt. But he didn't help us much in the playoffs at least. I'm assuming there's some sort of replacement planned for the loss of Ariza and Luc that goes beyond just Melo.
Really? Idk I think he's pretty good. So who do you think knows what they are talking about? Genuinely asking.
I think the only one will be more happier than Luc right now is NOT Melo., but rather Capela. Now Capela has more bargaining power than ever.
So far we didnt lose anyone who helped us win in the playoffs... I am satisfied and I trust in my perennial EOY
I haven't liked Moore for the past 3 years. All the time he just give hot takes in twitter. His articles are nothing much when it comes to insights. Quite obvious too that he doesn't watch most teams but he insists on..analysing them. The fact that he vouched for Iko means nothing to me. I like Lowe, Ben Golliver , the Dunc'd on ppl =)
I expected as most logically would that if the Rox brought everyone back they’d be slightly worse in a better West with more quality teams. I believe there is a notion that they need to find a way to have a more explosive offense and take a bigger swing offensive variance at the 3/4 instead of just having Harden and CP do everything with 3&D guys and one roller. Morey knows the league with another year will defend them better and better. I don’t know if Melo is the answer here at all FYI because it really just means PJ becomes the 3 and he’s not helping take pressure offensively off of Harden and CP, and I think Melo will only really look like Melo when both guys are on the bench and they run iso’s for him because they have no other options. It blows, but the Rockets really did have the best window last year and the first year they got Dwight. Probably the best two years to have made it happen. I think we need to reset our expectations and just enjoy being a really good vet team who can still win 50+ games in a loaded west. Expecting the Rockets to contend against the most lopsided roster in NBA history just is a recipe for misery.
