    defense kept us in the game missing 27 straight threes...defense was 1 of the main reasons we were up 3-2 to begin with

    y’all can keep dismissing the importance of defense and hoping that Melo will be the savior

    GS’s cocky team wasnt worried about us preseason last year either. They only feared us once we had that badass season.

    This time last year posters were thinking the season was over because we struck out on melo. Plenty of posters wanted to give up eg or capela to get melo and wouldve been elated if melo only cost us ariza + luc at the time.

    Im not making any predictions about next year, but I think people need to cool it with the “its all over” mindset. Lets see how this plays out.

    Morey is smart but he's pretty dumb. Dude trying to build a 3 point shooting team but he keeps on bringing in players that shoot like trash from the 3...Also, all the good 3 point shooters are all traded for some goddamm reason.

    I thought those posters were crazy...the most I was ever willing to give up for Melo was Ryno and a pick, anything more was a “hell no” from me

    we manage to build up an elite level defense and then proceed to lose our 2 best wing defenders who will be replaced by a 34 yo Melo...I’m very worried right now bro

    Will we still be good? Yes, because we’ll have Harden and CP3. I’m normally very optimistic, but I can’t sit here and act like we’ve improved our chances of beating GS and winning a title tho.

    Im not disagreeing with you. You are probably right about what you’ve been saying. Our team identity last year was built on having swiss army knife 3 + d guys switching on the perimeter.

    Im just trying to wait and see before I give up on the season.
