If CC decides to take his QO and leave next season, do y'all think Hartenstein would be a good replacement? Hartenstein can knock down FT's, and doesn't hesitate to shoot 3's, and can do the smae thing as CC, with a little more. Better option than picking someone up in FA?

No. He's nowhere as athletic as Capella

He's 19 years old, needs more muscle mass, and has barely peaked puberty..........and you want him to be part of the starting 5 of an NBA roster that includes James Harden and Chris Paul?

    No.

He is not better than below scrub at this point, and not guaranteed he will be better in future either.

No, hell no! You sign DJ in the offseason for the hometown discount.

No at that point we'd be better served signing Dewayne Dedmon as a traditional C replacement for Capela.

Let's rely on that. Just like he came this off-season at a huge discount.

If Clint takes the QO then something has gone horribly wrong.

There isn't a player on this roster who could replicate what Clint does. There are only a handful of players in the league who could and we have little to no chance at getting them in the next two years.

we ain't got time to try to develop someone from scratch again. Hartenstein right now is worse than what Capela was 3 years ago. Harden is almost 30.

Capela is worth about 12-14 a year thats about it (If he was worth more - someone would have gave him an offer sheet)

He'll have to start at backup first to see if he can even be a player at the NBA level. We'll likely have to throw something at DJ hoping that he doesn't love playing for Cuban after a year.

you can develop him for 100 years, he's not suddenly going to get athleticism and quicks

He's battling Zhou for bench, not Cappella for the starter

If Capela leaves we better focus on replacing the owner instead of the center.

Capela can't create his own shot and you want to give him 20 mill a year? That's what Capela and his agent are looking for. Capela isnt worth that. Tillman will be a great owner for many years to come.
