    Hey no worries.... Trump struck out on that whole affordable medication/healthcare thing. However use the bonus Trump gave you last year to make up the difference. If that doesn’t work, there are his tax cuts that will help out.

    Vyvanse. Our insurance doesn't pay for anything until we hit our deductible.

    Might go back to CHIP program now though since my wife went part time.

    I'm sorry that sucks. can you switch to a different plan? It is covered under some plans and might be worth taking a higher premium. Your doctor should try to get you a coupon or something at the very least.

    That’s nuts. Vyvanse is the one we haven’t tried for my son. Mostly because the stimulants have not worked well for him. Still looking for the one that works best for him but we’re also looking into behavioral therapy to try and do it eventually w/o meds.

    Funny you mention vyvanse. One of my doctor friends was just talking about how he is trying to ween this girl he is dating off that drug. I read up on it and it looks completely ridiculous that it’s even legal.

    Most effective we've had. Adderall is the cheapest we've been on, but wasn't very effective. There is another one we had that was but made him noticably drugged and made him fatigued quickly and total loss of appetite. Unfortunately the doctor lost our sons records, so I don't know what it is.

    My daughter did really well using the Daytrana patch. Unfortunate it seems they quit making them.

    I was diagnosed ADHD when I was in college but I it’s a pretty broad umbrella term. It’s kind of a worthless diagnosis to a degree considering how wide it is. I don’t know how doctors can reliably prescribe drugs for it.

    Have any of you guys taken those drugs before giving them to your kids to see the effect they had? I’ve tried to order adderall and those types of drugs thru Canadian pharmacies just to take them but they are impossible to get online. You can get pretty much any other pharmaceutical drug on those sites. I’ve been curious to try them just for the hell of it.
