we're getting blown out by the d-league warriors, smh. If Bob Myers wants to be real, he should just come out and say the rest of the league are a joke compared to his team. No need to be smug and say how tough it is when you've basically swept the finals every year since KD signed.
I can't watch this. I haven't fully healed yet from May. This game hasn't showed me anything so far... Turnovers really hurting their opportunities to show off any part of this game. Will be surprised if Cp3 stays.
Actually thought the Bob Myers interview was interesting. (Talking about running back the same team, Durant gave them a jolt. Cousins can give them a jolt.) DeMarcus can change things up & prevent it from being the status quo. When we went back & looked at the draft, we looked at how we ranked guys. We made mistakes. We didn't draft them sometimes but had them ranked and turned out not to be as good as we had them ranked. I asked our group why did they not make it? The common denominator was the mental part. They weren't smart enough. You find in the playoffs, it's not enough to have talent. You have to think. ... Rockets had a game plan that was almost flawless. They decided what they were gonna attack, how they'll defend us. For two teams being the best offensive teams, neither team could score. We had 94-90 games. The danger in putting a guy out there who can't think & possessions matter that much, they have to follow the game plan. Looking at the Rockets when building your roster? They had an injury but we did too. One of those series that was a bounce of a ball, a shot here or there. They were clearly the biggest challenge. Seems like they're coming back with the same group but every year is different.
