You don't want a potential league leader in steals? Besides, if this helps with recruting Lonzo to demand a trade to Houston, I'm all for it.
agreed with all except melton. CARMELO projects him s the 7th best player in the draft! i want him on that joe chee 4 year deal. bringing back luc for the non-bird would be below value and a great deal for the rockets. like you said if he didn't get hurt he'd get the MLE this summer. he's also our best bet at replacing ariza (besides the obvious ryno+pick for bazemore).
Dikembe giving a kid an autograph. He’s sitting on the other side front row @heypartner This picture is for you
I like Hartenstein. I wish Nanu could be traded, so he can take his place. That is unlikely to happen though. I don't want Nene to be moved, for a future second rounder, to the Celtics, but I'm okay with that idea. This will give Nene a chance to be on a contender. Hartenstein is likely to be able to do a better job than him. The highest upside players seem to be Trevon and Deng. They should be on 2 way contracts.
Although my preference is still for the MLE to be utilized on a BPA, I'm okay with using part of it, to secure Melton as a RFA. He can progress like Capela did in the former D-League. Hopefully, he will be able to give us good minutes at some point in the regular season.
I am talking about the others that have already gotten burn for the Rockets and Vipers. You kind of know what you have there. If they had pop, we probably would have seen it by now. So, I would rather the Rockets concentrate on their new assets and evaluate them as quickly as possible to see if there are contributors there.
Especially with 2 similar young and talented points with similar deficiencies already on the roster in Shelton and Duval. No thanks to any part of the Ball circus.
Yi would have never gotten drafted had he told the truth. His numbers were amazing in China for a 20 year old, only problem? He was 23.
