It never ceases to amaze me how many obscure players we had from 11-13. I was actually following the team and don't remember these guys.

    Joe Inglett played for us?

Luis Durango can't be a real name.

    Rate the arms of:
    Reddick
    Springer
Kemp (weakest, but good field coverage)
    Tucker

I would think 1 of them DH's quite a bit in the future... unless Alvarez makes an earlier than expected appearance. Gattis will get paid this offseason.

Springer has a plus arm, Reddick and Tucker both have above average arms. Kemp’s arm is horrible, and his field coverage actually isn’t very good, he just makes easy plays look difficult. Tucker’s callup means less playing time for Kemp, which is a good thing despite Kemp’s good showing at the plate so far this season. Kemp will be the backup OF, playing LF or CF 2 times a week.

    Springer
    Marwin
    Reddick
    Tucker (until shown otherwise)
    ...
    Kemp/Biggio

Wouldnt you prefer Marisnick as that backup OF guy, because he provides a very specific set of elite skills... especially valuable in tight game situations? I would like to put up 11 runs each game, but I feel an elite defender and base runner will work better for this team which is loaded with good hitters.

Why wasn’t White sent down instead?

With Correa on the DL, there wouldn't be a bench player on the infield.

Marisnick is clearly better at the 4th outfielder role because of his superior baserunning and defense. I expect him to be on the postseason roster.

As the roster stands, I'd expect both Jake and Kemp to be on it.

Yep...as of today, pretty sure they'd have Kemp and Jake and not have White.

EDIT....although they'd probably also drop a pitcher to get Correa on there
