I think Carmelo Anthony is likely to end up with Rockets

    well he did go 0-9 from the perimeter this past season so assuming he wont go 0-12 isn't as impossible as you may think

    Definitely doable.

    He was 0-9 with Westbrick on the team.

    We have Chris Paul, which will easily help Melo break the 0-12 barrier.

    If he comes here that's fine, he'll be a guy we hide on defense as a starter during the regular season and eat minutes while handling the ball a fair amount of the time. That's a luxury we didn't have with Ariza, and Melo can still nail open 3's. If it happens it's worth the gamble that maybe he matures a bit in a winning environment and maximizes his efficiency in a great offensive scheme. Furthermore he's a PF which Ariza is not, and we can always finish games with him on the bench (offense for defense subs). Not super worried about him during the regular season, but likely going to be a major problem if we use him for big post season minutes.

    If Carmelo Anthony comes to the Rockets, I think its a upgrade offensively, over Ariza, Ariza is a extremely streaky shooter. How many open shots did Ariza miss during the regular season and playoffs. Carmelo can work out on the Rockets, but Mike needs to control his minutes and match ups. Can Carmelo make Kevin Durant play defense. Trevor Ariza was an absolute 0 on offense. Kevin Durant was resting on Defense it seemed like all series against Trevor Ariza. It made me absolutely angry at Trevor that you have absolutely no ability to Score, create, dribble quick to attack Kevin Durant. Ariza Sideway Fadeaway going Left Brick 3 pointer Slow Shot was horrific to watch. Ariza defense on Kevin Durant was horrific. Durant destroyed him Averaging over 30 points. That's not defense, Ariza was trying to keep up with Durant trailing on his hip all series. The 2016 playoffs where was Trevor Ariza on defense against the Spurs, not doing anything to stop Simmons.
    Carmelo Anthony is Stronger on Postups, has moves learned from Hakeem, He is a excellent Iso player, He is a Quick Shooter from 3. Rockets should try to sign him for 1 year.

    CP3 knew Ariza was gone and Melo was getting bought out before he signed his new deal with us.

    Lol Melo is a bigger threat to Golden State than Ariza and Anderson point blank period.

    Not true Anderson couldn't even see the floor playoff time and Ariza if he scores makes more than a couple of shots everyone is surprised lol.

    Melo is a guy that cannot be left unguarded and will at times be held by Draymond Green which frees Capela to play his game something we couldn't do with Ariza and Anderson lol.
