as if Melo’s 12 points on 38% shooting and trash defense would’ve been so valuable

good defense is the most important thing against GS...the offense was ugly for most of the series, but the defense was incredible for large portions of that series as well...we genuinely had GS flustered at times

Did you not read what I responded to your post? I straight up told you I disagree with your idea that Melo couldn't start. We'll see if the rockets go after Melo the 2nd time around.

 

Name me one player, that the Rockets can ACTUALLY sign with the MLE or on a minimum contract that would replace Ariza.

There is no one. That is why when the news broke that Ariza had signed with Phoenix, it was so soul crushing. There is no one that can replace him. The closest player is likely the Rockets own free agent Luc.

 

He'll sign with us because we can offer the same money as LA but offer him a starting spot unlike Lakers.
