You mock the notion, but they're right. By 2060 white Americans will be a minority and 20 percent of the US population will be foreign-born. Americans created the most amazing country this world has ever seen, only to give it away starting with the 1965 changes in immigration laws, combined with lax border enforcement. This country is going to resemble Brazil within most of our lifetimes. It's cultural genocide. The melting pot analogy only applies if the "stew" has time to cook (assimilate). We're being inundated with far too many legal and illegal migrants for any meaningful assimilation to take place. Japan and China would never allow themselves to be invaded and bred into obscurity like this. Organic diversity is good. But the willful forced importation of a population for political purposes is artificial and wantonly destructive.

Those kids are wrong. The real problem is ALL brown people, not just the industrious and festive Mexican race. I miss the good ole days before we let the swarthy Italians and Kaiser friendly Germans pollute the gene pool. Our forefathers were English stock. The Constitution was written by English stock and all the wisdom that we rely on came from English stock. People forget, Italians are not white... don't be fooled. What I find distressing is that our current President is half German and he keeps marrying foreigners and bringing over dirty Slavs which give us filthy half Slav and quarter Germans mongrel children.

Also, this same shtick was going on when white Irish and Italians came in to this nation. Trust me, most of them weren't engineers and scientists when they arrived here. The United States was determined to be a country where the term "American" didn't attach a racial component to it. It's a nationality. The United States isn't considered an ethnostate. If foreigners especially the ones from South America voted with the interest of united states in mind, I wouldn't mind it but they're voting records shows that they will only vote to benefit themselves and their group. If America keeps allowing in immigrants in masses it will be the death of the United States and I'm sure a lot of people don't mind seeing.

This is a common refrain. This belief was popular in the USA in the 1880's - 1920's when the USA had their largest voluntary immigration. What is odd, is that the period of mass immigration also coincides with the time period that the USA became a super power and the US economy improved. I am not saying massive immigration is without complications, but historically in the USA there isn't really any negative economic consequences of heavy immigration. Indeed, usually 30-40 years after massive immigration in the USA we have seen an improvement in the USA finances. Does that mean it will always be the case? I don't know, but it is something to consider. I don't think it was easy to live in NYC in the 1880's - 1920's and have massive immigration from Ireland, Germany and Italy. There were a lot of real growing pains (which history has conveniently not addressed), there were even civil issues with Italians through the early 1970's. Hell in the 1930's there were organizations for Germans to protect their heritage and language at all costs. There were rallies for Adolf Hitler in the USA by Germans. There were strong movements to keep the USA out of WWI and WWII because Germans didn't want to fight Germans. Jews and Italians were Marxists or anarchists that actively attempted to over throw the US government through explosives detonating and killing people in public places. Jews in many cases were very militant. Yet....... at the end of the day, they are Americans and they have assimilated.... time does that.... and it isn't any different for the groups entering the USA now.
Yes it has. It was just back in the day, the Irish and Italians were considered not the "right type of white". We speak of a lack of assimilation. We gave the Irish and Italians time to assimilate and they did. Anyways, I don't ever hear the proponents of the narrative that "immigrants in the US don't assimilate" what "proper assimilation" looks like . I think this is a great thread to begin providing some nuance to that notion . What does assimilation look like and how do you know American immigrants aren't doing it at a systemic level? Anecodotal stories don't count. I want data .
If they were white you are talking about an anti catholic bias, not a racist bias. So historically not about race.
