No. Fatty @Roscoe Arbuckle invented that one and I don’t want to be sued by him for copyright infringement.
it'd be interesting to have a three team trade, Melo to the Rockets, Ryno to the third team, and a smaller contract to the Thunder. OKC could chip in some draft considerations along with the Rockets. Would be a good way of offloading Ryno without having to give up significant resources since OKC would be chipping some in for us.
Not going to lie, I saw the article, started reading it on ESPN, then said "OMG, I must come here for the cleverly disguised Melo thread" Not disappointed AT ALL. 64 star melo thread.
Just because he starts doesn't mean he maintains starters minutes. Dantoni can manage rotations (well.... in the regular season). And so far we haven't replaced Ariza or re-signed Mbah a Moute. For the VET MINIMUM, why not? And HONESTLY, how can anyone legitimately compare playing with willing passers in Harden and Paul to playing with Westbrook? HOW????
WOJ's reporting is that the trade would be done with the understanding that Melo would be allowed to become a free agent.
More likely he wants the MLE. The Lakers happen to be holding just over $5 million in cap space open as well.
Seriously, the rockets were fine with Anderson starting and not being able to play any defense. Anderson was just afraid to f-cking shoot or couldn't get a shot off quick enough. Melo might not be as good anymore, but I have more faith in the Rockets system than OKC. the Rockets system has reformed headcase chuckers before. Josh Smith anyone?
This is probably the beat way to offload Ryan. Who gave us nothing this last playoff run where they were a half away from the Finals. Definitely gotta resign Luc though.
