I think that instead of bemoaning that this season might be a long shot ..... That we should appreciate how rare a season like last season was . In the face of true monster opponents , you're circumstances have to be lucky . Or you just have to have a significantly better front office than the opposition . I like the recent Feigen article , I don't think we have to look down on the team . If anything , our GM has shown that he is a strong rational decision maker . He may **** up , but he generally does things for a purpose. I think we can take a bigger perspective on our moves from that standpoint.

Exactly. Our expectations are where they are because of comments like these. If the message was “we plan to bring back most of the guys and try again”, we wouldn’t feel as let down. As it stands right now, “run it back” doesn’t event fit what we’ve done.
