and there it is... so enough w this mental gymnastics competition defining what an "offer" is and blah blah blah. there wasn't a market for boogie and the first person to offer him $8-10M probably would've gotten him... only, no one really wanted him. you can hate on golden state all you want but this isn't their fault.
There is a trick work-around on the S&T and having to be 3 years. You can do Non-guaranteed for years 2 and 3.
Is he going to turn down the chance at 3/45? I mean, if the Rockets enticed the Suns into a 3 way trade doing a S&T with Ariza. Ariza is going for bank. He isn't going to turn down 3/45 likely. And the Suns get the option to dump him after 1 year like they already had set out to do. Just spitballing a bit.
The better question is why would the Suns even offer that to Ariza, risking him opting in for an additional 2 years 30 million I like the thinking though @Deuce because we can get Tyson Chandler back in a S&T
Ahhh got it. didn't read that NG part. I'm on board. It is the first step in the Otto Porter Movement.
Davis should be happy. The Pelicans can't afford to wait for Boogie like the Warriors can. Swapping Boogie for Randle is a great move for them.
And this would be by far one of if not the worst decisions of Moreys entire career. This is so stupid i dont even know where to start.
This, people are stuck in their groupthink. Boogie isn't going to do **** this year and once hes healthy hell leave for money anyways. One of the dumbest reactions ever in NBA free agency history.
well well well.. Bulls you have to think at least 15 goes to Lavine. All the money from Indiana probably to Smart. Where are the 76ers going to spend it? LOL at the Suns not even having 5 million in capspace.
At worst he's a waste of a roster spot who will never play, I would argue that your description of him would be pretty much a best case scenario. It's a low risk, low reward signing.
