The new math is 4 all stars plus 1 more. Second math problem is a player considered one of the best of all time moving West. Third math problem? That is still us. We are still competitive, and we still are one of a few teams with a legitimate shot.
the cp3 deal seemed like a panic signing. les went all in but im hindsight it seems like he didn't want to be in this situation where they came up short knowing a semi rebuild would be the best next step.
pretty much the only way theres a fighting chance. signing minor role players will make little to no difference at this point
Dream bigger. PG OTTO PORTER SG OTTO PORTER SF OTTO PORTER PF OTTO PORTER C OTTO PORTER cults are made for as many people to drink the koolaid as possible, you just need to be prepared to do manual labor for little to no pay but we can provide a nice commune for you to live in and it's conveniently located in a remote area where the nearby town will hate us.
I know we're so used to players collecting $20 million to do jack sh*t but there are players out there that actually earn their money
Right. His contract is big no doubt and he's not a superstar. He is however an AMAZING 3rd best player and the perfect fit for a Harden Paul team. Elite shooting, capable of switching on defense, can catch and shoot, can create, can dribble, etc. If he's your best player you aren't good because he's not dynamic with the ball, but as a wing playing off elite players like Paul and Harden? Absolutely.
The Otto Porter Movement is not a cult; that's a huge fallacy. It's a collection of minds that came to the realization that Houston needs a 3&D starting small forward and Washington don't know what the f*ck they're doing half of the time which is why they're going to be in luxury tax hell for the next few years. That is, of course, they trade a replaceable 3&D starting small forward to us for a sacrificial lamb making the same amount of money and waive him before he counts towards the luxury tax.
