i think one of the hopes we have, is that we may get clint capela on a bargain contract, because all these teams are throwing there money at other players. lakers and dallas can't get him now. nor phoenix. So if we can get him cheap, and get someone good with that midlevel, i think we'll all be happy with that.
The available players for the MLE are nearly gone. Racking my brain I'm not sure there is a "starter" left out there to sign with the MLE, so not sure what good player we will get. We might get Clint Capela on a bargain, or he might sign his QO and try free agency next year. Have to wait and see.
I might b*tch and complain but only outta jealousy of other teams. but what i do know is, htown knows how to fight. so if we go out, best believe we'll be swinging on the way down.
It would be a pretty funny ****-you to the league to start selling off pieces and tank. Like send Harden to Boston or Philly for one of their beasts plus a billion first rounders.
If this was last year's Rockets team I'd be excited but this is a year older, less deep Rockets team taht wasn't deep enough last May.
Big difference is that The Warriors main core are all in their primes. All of the Lakers except D. Howard (and he wasn't 100%) were in their Twilight.
It's the Millennial way. Everybody gets a trophy - no one is a loser, blah blah. Millennials have their hands in many pots but are masters of none of them, lol. The problem with telling everyone that they are a winner and shielding them from any real adversity while they are growing to be adults is that you make the world a tough place when conflict actually does occur. They don't know how to handle it and they cope with it by taking the easiest road possible.
