Have you watched NBA players shooting % during shoot around and practice?

They make around 80% of their shots then.

NBA defense during an actual game brings those numbers down drastically. NBA playoff defense strangles those % even more.

Dont put too much stock on that 55% shooting percentage. Once he gets to know the NBA defense with its speed and athleticism, its going to drop by at least 20 points.

If he is coming here for peanuts, then sure, why not. But dont expect him to make a difference on a team like Rockets which is retooling to take down the Warriors.

We need proven high quality, high impact players, given our lofty goals and ambitions.

Yea but GG, despite being a knucklehead, kept getting NBA contracts. Why??? because he has NBA talent. This dude couldn't get a contract after 6 summer leagues with shitty rebuilding teams. I hope I'm wrong.

Do you think Trevor Ariza would hit 55% in Euroleague?

Could be worth a look at the minimum. He has the potential to be a rotation player in the playoffs with his length and shot. The question would be can he be a solid defender in our system...

Honestly not trying to troll, but: Why exactly should we give a **** about James Nunnally? Sounds like a nobody to me.

(Too lazy to Google and research, haha)

Can he play switch defense though?

Anyway, we have a James, and we have a Paul. Who needs LeBron and PG13?

It's obvious. Nunnally needs a better driveway and a better dog.

You know both PJ Tucker and Patrick Beverley spent significant time playing overseas, right? PJ spent 5 years in Europe. Beverley spent 3 years there. Sometimes players don't get the opportunity to show their stuff in the league. Sometimes they have a fatal flaw they have to work out overseas before they can thrive in the NBA.

Bro... Tucker was an all-american and drafted in the NBA draft. Bev lost his college eligibility for academic (cheating) reasons. Bev was broke and couldn't play college, he needed money so went to Europe. This guy wasn't good enough, THAT's why he went to Europe. Huge differences imo.

There are still guys in Europe who were high first rounders to Lottery picks. You can make the argument for those players too.

Bev and PJ are not the only exceptions, there is a lot of talent out there.
