Chris Paul could have taken $30 million instead of $40 million and we could have given Trevor $15 million. Durant takes paycuts why can't Paul?
Everything looks perfect now, i just hope Clint won't sign the qo if there's a lot of difference between what he wants and what we offer.
Interesting. McGee was unplayable in the playoffs vs Houston. Only played 1 minute the entire series. I'd imagine that he would have the same issues switching to smaller players vs GS.
Thank god we don't have to trash McGree look like an All Star on the Warriors anymore. Guy has such a low IQ
No way Ariza is worth $15 mill. Rudy Gay signed only a $10 mill contract with the Spurs and they aren't going anywhere next year.
they won't re-sign him if he doesn't want to be there and they won't match it if the offer sheet is longer than a year
Ariza is a lot more playable on a contender than Rudy Gay. Ariza the type of guy you can slot into just about any team and he's going to add to your win total. Gay needs the offense running through him when he's on the floor, except he's not efficient enough to actually make it worthwhile. At best he's a 6th man while your superstar rests on a semi-contender shooting for a middle seed. At worst he's option 1A and you're gunning for the 8th seed.
Is anyone worried Clint will force a three year deal with a PO on the 3rd year? Salary cap will be up 116 instead of 101. A lot of teams will be gone from a lot of their bad contracts and have a huge amount of cap space. Does it make sense if Cap takes a 3 year 45 million deal with a PO? I know Morey doesn't give out POs though.
