Ariza gets a nice well paid vacation for a year, then comes back to sign with us on the cheap in 2019-20.
Ariza is smart for going after his 15 mill. For the better half of this decade he has given Houston everything he has had. Good and bad. Man deserves to get paid. He is an absolute iron man as well, and the league knows he's capable of playing. Next season he can sign the MLE or tax payers MLE for a good team that can compete. He played his cards well. I love Ariza even when I hate him. I'm happy for him. Helped get us CP3. Came here to play with James when he could have stayed in Washington. Rocked Rockets red after we traded him after one year. Dude is dope.
Arizona has earnt over 75 million from contracts in the NBA, not including any endorsements and bonuses. I'm not really sure you can make the grandkids argument over a few extra mil (in 1 year). I'm not sure what contract he expects next offseason as a result. That being said, he is fine to go to whoever offers him the most money, he did a great job as a rocket every night.
I never said he would sign a 1 year $15 million deal with the Suns. I said I didn't expect him back and I was right. You said gimme a break he's re-signing, that he still wants to win a championship, that money would be no issue for us to re-sign him, and that he wouldn't leave Paul and Harden. That was incorrect on your part. In other words, you were wrong.
Yes but we’ve already lost Ariza. So really it’s just Gordon and Capela we’d have to lose. Would trade Gordon, Capela and Ryno for LBJ all day everyday.
Yes you are right . I didnt know he didnt want to win anymore. Sorry that him crying postgame game 7 and doing commericals with paul and harden made me think otherwise. You acting like you knew this would happen is laughable.
ESPN making it sound like a big lose with ARIZA ESPN said ROCKETS were only challeger to Warriors, now have no chance to beat Warriros without Ariza to defend and spread the floor. WTF??? They forgot 0 points in 42 minutes??? WE JUST SIGNED CP3
Before Ariza leaving, the only threat. Now that he's gone, how will they fill that void? Unless something else is in mind...that to me was a big loss. - Byron Scott Losing Trevor is a big deal. - Ramona
I heard on the radio earlier that nene was going to retire. Dont know if there is any truth to that but it should help us cap wise right?
